Neuromotor Learning and Control Scientist, Fight Director

Brandon Brockshus is an assistant professor of kinesiology at Louisiana Tech University. He earned his PhD in kinesiology with minors in statistics and neuroscience at Iowa State University. He is a recognized Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD) Actor/Combatant. Dr. Brockshus has served as fight director for Iowa Stage Theater Company, Shot in the Dark Productions, Human Combat Chess, Iowa State University, Central College, Drake University, Morningside University, and Iowa high schools. His research interests include methods of teaching stage combat and the effects of stage combat training and practice on human health. He lives in Ruston, Louisiana with his wife, daughter, and son.
